Tallman Family

Dr. Perry Tallman, DPT, SCS, OCS, ATC, Owner

Perry graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 1984, and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chatham College in 2003. He became a Board-Certified Sports Physical Therapist in 1991, and was re-certified in 2001 and 2011. He became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist in 2006. Perry is also a Certified Athletic Trainer, previously serving as Head Athletic Trainer at the West York Area School District, and serving as a volunteer Athletic Trainer through the United States Olympic Committee and at the Pan American Games. He has taken numerous continuing education courses with an emphasis in manual therapy, and specializes in treating neuromuscular and postural imbalances. He has also lectured on shoulder injury evaluation and rehabilitation.

His Sports Medicine specialties include rehabilitation of the shoulder, knee and back/hip, with a special interest in golf biomechanics and golf injury rehabilitation. Perry works in both the East York and Dallastown offices.

Perry, and his wife, Becky, have 3 children, Matt, Brett and Katie. And if you ever need someone to fill out a foursome for a round of golf, he's the one to call!

Laura Byrne, PT

Laura joined White Rose Physical Therapy in 2004. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1981. She began her PT career at Memorial Hospital, where she briefly served as director of PT. In 1984, Laura began work in outpatient orthopedics. She has attended many advanced training courses in the study of manual therapy of the spine and extremities. She has participated in, and been a teaching member of orthopedic PT study groups, is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and has coordinated clinical education rotations of PT students. Special interest areas include the detection and correction of imbalances in the musculoskeletal system affecting posture, dynamic and static balance, strength, and mobility. In other words, she enjoys assisting and training her clients toward improved function.

Laura is married and the mother of 4 teens. She enjoys recreational running, walking, hiking and volleyball.
